July Fun at Heidi's!

Owen always has so much fun at Heidi's.  Even though we are super excited for him to start preschool on September 2, we will be so sad to leave Heidi's Little Star daycare.  She is so great!

Jump tent day!  Heidi rented a jump tent and then invited all of us to come for a BBQ that night.

Can you tell he had fun?
Always so helpful and kind to the little ones.  Here, he's helping Sophie buckle up.
 Enjoying our BBQ
...so much that he didn't want to go home. :(`````
Loving the teeter-totter with his friend Seth

The big excitement in July was watching a nest-full of birdies hatch.

Thursdays are puppet wagon days.  They walk to the park and enjoy the show!
 Bike day!
 Owen, Kaden and Madison
 Water day!

 Now that is determination!

They even got to eat lunch outside on water day.

This and That!

Okay, so it has been awhile.....a long while since I posted last!  We've been busy and having a lot of fun, but I think I've realized my limits while being pregnant this time around.  Instead of spending time downloading photos and posting when Owen naps, now I rest too!

My pregnancy has been going well.  I'm not used to this third trimester stuff - it's all new to me!  The swollen ankles, the baby's head jamming into my diaphragm so I can't breathe, the leg cramps....so much fun!  But I am certainly not complaining.  The baby has already stayed in longer than Owen did, so we have passed that hurdle!  Our C-section is scheduled for September 9, so about 8 more weeks to go!

Here are a few photos I've taken over the last few months:

Seeing Shrek at the Children's Theater with his two best buddies, Sully and Liam

We broke in our fire pit by making s'mores.  Owen LOVED them!
On Father's Day, we celebrated what an amazing Daddy Paul is!
Liam and Owen having fun at the splash pad
The Summer Concert Series started at my work this week, so Paul and O came up to visit me.  Daddy treated Owen to some marshmallow ice cream.
Then he got the "Flash" logo painted on his arm.
On the 4th of July, we went to a parade.  He had so much fun seeing the fire trucks and getting to pick up candy and freeze pops!
Then we enjoyed dinner with our neighbors and went to Bielenberg for the fireworks.  He stayed awake the whole time and thought they were "SOOO COOL!"
Anxiously awaiting the fireworks with his pal Leighton
This kid is obsessed with his truck from Auntie Dawn and Uncle Bob.  He puts on work gloves, a helmet, and ear protection and would ride it for hours if we'd let him!
Today we spent some quality time with the Withers family at the MN Zoo.  We always have so much fun with them!
Riding the wagon back from the Farm
 3 little cuties!
 Livia, Sophia and O
Next we headed off to celebrate our friends Piper and Lucy, who turned 3 with an amazing pony party!

So as you can see, we've been keeping busy!  I'll try to be better about keeping up on my posts from now on!

2014 Walk for Babies

Each year since we've taken Owen home from Children's, we've done the March of Dimes Walk for Babies.  It's one small way that we can give back for all that March of Dimes did for our family.  It's also a way that we can support our friends, the Becker family.  Their baby girl, Lily, was born very early and after spending 3 weeks in the NICU, she passed away.  We joined their team a few years ago and are proud to walk and raise pledges for Team Go Lily.

The March of Dimes does a fantastic job with the event!  Between all of the games and costumed characters, the food, the music....it's a really fun, family-friendly event.

Team Go Lily!
Having fun in the jump tents
 Spidey!
 Goldy Gopher
 Even a train of clowns!

It was a little chilly, but Owen stayed nice and warm
Just a part of our team - Team Go Lily is the largest family team in the St. Paul walk

Team Go Lily made it onto the Channel 5 news the night of the walk!

Tractors and Diggers and Police Cars....Oh My!

The Woodbury Chamber of Commerce puts on the Woodbury Expo each year and they do a nice job of displaying all kinds of vehicles that little boys love to "drive."  I took Owen for a few hours and he was in heaven!
